The name Jore, comes from the contraction of Josephine Reich, first name and last name. This is chosen to demonstrate the close connection between Josephine herself and the designs she presents in Jore Copenhagen.

A large part of the source of inspiration is the well-known vintage style, which is expressed through the design's playful shapes, colors and materials.
